Portal release notes, September 2026

New ways to sign in, invitations people register from themselves, a redesigned Add Supplier wizard, expiry reminders back on, and permit templates that carry their required documents.

Permits

  • New Permit templates carry their required documents. Linking a document template to a permit creates the matching document on every site and job the permit is assigned to, in one step.

Tasks & Actions

  • Improved Corrective actions in bulk, with owners. Add corrective actions in bulk, assign them to real owners, follow a defined lifecycle, and receive their notifications.

Login, Security & SSO

  • New Sign in with an emailed code, or with an NZ mobile number. Email accounts can sign in with a one-time code sent to their inbox instead of a password, and switch between the two in My Profile. People can also register and sign in with an NZ mobile number, and a mobile account can add an email address and then sign in with either.

Teams & Permissions

  • Improved Invitations people register from themselves. Invited people get a welcome email and register at app.getforsite.com, instead of signing in with a temporary password. When a client adds someone to a supplier that approves its own members, that person is told they are waiting for approval, and told if they are not approved.

Service Providers & Sub-contractors

  • Improved Add Supplier wizard redesigned. Adding a supplier or sub-contractor is now a step-by-step dialog. Search marks companies already on your list and which of your sites they are on, and the email preview shows exactly what the supplier will receive. A short tour introduces the new layout.

Company Onboarding & Prequalification

  • New Upload-only and written-answer prequalification items. Prequalification additions can ask for a document upload only, or a written answer only. Existing documentation items still accept either and are labelled "File or written answer".
  • Improved Onboarding forms easier to complete and review. Descriptions wrap and keep their line breaks, headings no longer count as unanswered questions, amounts show thousands separators, and an expired N/A answer can be selected again. A company with nothing to answer can no longer be sent for approval, and the compliance review opens from the supplier's company page.

Compliance Reminders & Expiry

  • Improved Expiry reminder emails are back on. Insurance and certificate expiry reminders are sent again, once per document and milestone, and skip a document the supplier has already renewed under another client's requirement. The Compliance Reminders page shows those reminders as resolved.

Incidents

  • New Five new incident sub-types. Disorderly Conduct, Breach of Trespass Order, Aggression / Threatening Behaviour, Intoxication and Lone Work, with matching filters in the incident log.
  • Improved Incident forms keep their versions. Editing an incident form publishes a new version, so past incidents keep the form they were reported on, and the form's expiry setting no longer resets when the builder is reopened. When a rule moves an incident to another workflow, the incident starts at that workflow's first stage.
  • Improved Incident severity matches across the App and Portal. New incidents reported from the App use the same severity scale as the Portal, and the Risk Profile's severity bands are corrected, so counts of serious incidents may go up.

Sites & Zones

  • Improved Site menu regrouped. The site sidebar groups its pages into clearer sections, with document management in its own group.

Bug fixes.
