Overview

Check in to a site using the Forsite App. You must be inside the site geofence for the check in button to appear.

Steps

1. Open the app to the Home page.
   • You’ll see your current location and the site boundary (geofence).
2. Move inside the geofence
   • When you’re on site, a green Check in button will appear.
   • If you’re within multiple geofences, you’ll see Select site instead.
3. Start check-in
   • Tap Check in (or Select site and choose the correct site).
   • This starts your check-in journey, which your site manager has configured.
4. Complete the required checks (may vary by site)
   • Complete your site induction (if you haven’t already).
   • Acknowledge Site Hazards.
   • Acknowledge High-Risk Warning.
   • Select Work Order you’re here to complete.
   • Select Zone you’re working in.
   • Select how long you expect to be on site (lone-worker protection).
5. Finish
   • Follow the prompts to complete check-in. You’re now recorded as on site.
   • You’ll be automatically checked out when you leave the geofence.

Troubleshooting

• No Check in button
  • You may be outside the geofence—move closer to the site.
  • Make sure location permissions are allowed for the app.
  • If you’re in more than one geofence, tap Select site and choose the site.

• Not seeing the right site
  • Confirm you’re at the correct location and that your company is assigned to the site by your site manager.
• Still stuck
  • Check you have a stable connection and try again.

FAQs‍

Q: Why don’t I see the Check in button?
A: You must be inside the site geofence and have location permissions enabled. If multiple sites overlap, tap Select site.

Q: Do I have to finish the induction before I can check in?
A: If your induction isn’t complete, the check-in journey will prompt you to complete it first.

Q: Can I check in to more than one site at once?
A: If you’re within multiple geofences, choose the correct site using Select site. You’ll be recorded on that site only.

Q: What if I forget to check out?
A: You’ll be automatically checked out when you leave the site geofence.
