Overview

You carry out site audits in the Forsite App, using the audit templates your company has published and assigned to sites. If the audit is graded, the App works out the result as you answer. You then review results on the Audits page in the Portal.

Steps

  1. Open Audits
    • In the Forsite App, tap Documents, then Audits.
    • You'll see audits for the company you're working under. If you work for more than one, switch to your own company first.
  2. Choose the audit and site
    • On the New audit tab, tap an audit marked Browse to see its sites, then tap the site you are at. An audit marked Open starts straight away.
    • Use Search audits & forms to find an audit or a site by name.
  3. Fill in the form
    • Answer each question. Inspection items usually offer Safe, At Risk and N/A. Tap Note to add a comment or Media to add photos.
    • On a graded audit, a banner at the bottom of the form shows the score and the result it will submit with.
  4. Submit
    • Tap Submit. If required answers are missing, the App lists them so you can go back and fill them in.
    • You can't save an audit as a draft, and opening or submitting one needs a data connection.
  5. Raise actions for failed items
    • The App then shows the result and any failed items. Tick the ones that need follow-up and tap Raise 2 Actions (the number matches how many you ticked).
    • Check each Title, add notes, then tap Raise & Next Item or Raise Action. Tap Done to finish. Owners and due dates are set in the Portal.
  6. Review results in the Portal
    • Go to Audits. In Audit Forms, click a status such as Fail, then click View/Manage on an audit.
    • Details shows the score and result, History shows status changes, and Actions lists follow-ups. Use + Add Action to raise more.

Troubleshooting

  • No audits available → The App lists audits owned by the company you are working under, on sites you are assigned to. Check you are under the right company, that you are assigned to the site, and that the template is published and assigned to that site.
  • An audit opens without asking for a site → The template isn't assigned to any of your sites, so the result won't be recorded against a site. Assign it to the site in the Portal, then pull down on the list to refresh.
  • The form won't open → Opening an audit needs a data connection. Tap Retry once you have signal.
  • Audits is missing in the Portal, or I only see audits I submitted → Your role controls what you can see. Ask your Company Administrator. If nobody in your company has Audits, Site Audits may not be switched on. Contact Forsite support.

FAQs

Can I complete an audit in the Portal instead?
Yes, for audits that have a schedule. On the Audits page, click Complete on the audit's row and choose Start an Audit Form. Choose Upload a PDF to record an audit done on paper.

Where do I find audits I've already done in the App?
On the Submissions tab, with their result: Passed, Needs Improvement, Failed or Completed. Tap one to open it read-only, or tap the three-dot button to see and raise its actions.

Can contractors run our audits?
The App shows audits to people working under the company that owns them. Contractors working under their own company won't see yours.

What does the Reporting tab show?
Outcome counts, results by audit type, and audits that need attention. If your role can't see company-wide reporting, it shows only your own submissions.
