Overview

The Risk Profile report puts your incidents, hazards, critical controls and corrective actions on one page that you can read top to bottom or print. It's built from live data each time you open it.

Steps

  1. Open the report
    • Go to Risk Management → Risk Profile Report.
  2. Set the parameters
    • Under Reporting window, pick 30 days, 90 days, 180 days or 365 days.
    • Under High-risk threshold, pick Medium+, High+ or Extreme. Forsite remembers both on this browser.
  3. Read the headline numbers
    • A warning banner appears at the top when anything is outside risk appetite.
    • The scorecards are grouped under Events, Exposure and Governance. Incident counts are compared with the previous window of the same length.
  4. Work through the sections
    • Click a section heading to open or close it. Hazards Driving Incidents and Outside Risk Appetite start closed; the rest start open.
  5. Check appetite breaches
    • Open Outside Risk Appetite. It lists active hazards, and incidents from the reporting window, rated at or above your high-risk threshold.
    • Hazards are judged on their residual rating. Incidents are judged on their criticality.
  6. Print or save as PDF
    • Open every section you want included, then use your browser's print command. Only the report prints; the menus are left out.

Troubleshooting

  • Risk Profile Report isn't in the menu → The report is part of the full Risk Management suite, and your role needs access to it. Contact Forsite support or your Company Administrator.
  • The banner link didn't show the breach list → Outside Risk Appetite starts closed. Click its heading to open it.
  • A section is missing from my printout → Closed sections print as a heading only. Open them before you print.
  • My numbers don't match a colleague's → Each person's window and threshold are saved in their own browser. Check you're both using the same settings.

FAQs

Does this report use our Risk Appetites settings?
Not directly. Here, an item counts as outside risk appetite when it's rated at or above the high-risk threshold you choose. The Out of appetite queue on a hazard register uses the tolerances set under Risk Appetites, so the two counts can differ.

Which incidents count as high risk?
Incidents are rated from their criticality. Negligible and Minor count as Low, Moderate as Medium, Serious as High and Very Serious as Extreme. At High+, Serious and Very Serious incidents are counted.

Does the reporting window apply to everything?
No. The 12-Month Trends charts always cover the last 12 months, and hazard figures reflect the register as it stands today. Incident figures follow the window you pick.
