Health and Safety Management

Health and safety management software for property portfolios

Keep a current picture of every site's risk, control it on your own framework, and hold the evidence that proves it.

The Reality

The duty is personal

Officers carry the health and safety duty personally, not through the company. In New Zealand, HSWA penalties for an officer reach NZ$600,000 and five years; in Australia, WHS officer penalties reach A$2.4 million. The cases that end badly are the ones without a verifiable, documented system. Effort without evidence does not survive scrutiny.

Two seats, one platform

Facilities people sit on both sides of the Forsite ecosystem. Pick your seat; it is the same platform underneath.

Know your risks
Hazard and company risk registers plus site information, kept current across every site you answer for.
Control them your way
A controls library graded by the hierarchy of control, critical-risk controls and permits, all on your framework.
Respond when something happens
Anyone on site can raise an incident. Workflows, corrective actions and records satisfy the five-year notifiable-event duty.
Verify and prove
Audits, critical-risk verification and compliance dashboards, rolled up to the board Risk Profile.

Prove it to the board and the regulator

The Risk Profile shows hotspots and appetite breaches across the portfolio, and the trail behind every number is one click deep. Due diligence you can hand over, not describe.

The modules behind the evidence

Each capability above is a module you can open, configure and audit.

We cut down our induction wait times from 3 hours to 15 minutes. Forsite's digital inductions have changed how we run every project.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What evidence do officers need for HSWA due diligence?
The duty is to verify, not just to intend. Officers need current risk registers, proof that controls are in place and used, and records showing incidents were investigated and closed out. Forsite holds that trail in one place, per site and per contractor.
How does Forsite support overlapping duties with contractors?
Commercial buildings are shared workplaces, so client, service providers and workers hold overlapping duties. Forsite puts all three on one platform: shared hazards, shared inductions, shared records. Consultation and coordination stop depending on email.
Can we use our own risk matrix and risk appetite?
Yes. Matrices, appetite and control grading are configurable, so assessments run on your framework rather than a vendor default. Consultants carry their own methodology across every client.
What records must be kept after a notifiable event?
Records of a notifiable event must be kept for at least five years. Forsite captures the incident, the investigation, the corrective actions and the sign-offs, and keeps them retrievable. You still notify the regulator; Forsite holds the record that backs it.
Does it cover both HSWA and the Australian WHS Act?
Yes. Registers, controls, permits and records work the same under New Zealand's HSWA and the Australian WHS Acts. Penalty regimes differ; the evidence you need does not.
